Water level at Marala Headworks of Chenab River is 468,000 cusecs


Lahore: Rains have been predicted in various districts of Punjab till September 5.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Punjab, there will be rain in the province till September 5, due to which the flood situation is likely to intensify.
According to PDMA, the water level at Marala Headworks of the Chenab River is 468,000 cusecs, 339,470 cusecs at Khanki Headworks, 232,450 cusecs at Qadirabad Headworks, and 108,343 cusecs at Chiniot Bridge.
In addition, the water level at Trimo Headworks is 355,744 cusecs, 71,010 cusecs at Jasar of the Ravi River, 54,190 cusecs at Ravi Siphon, 53,630 cusecs at Shahdara, 117,655 cusecs at Baloki Headworks, and 193,470 cusecs at Sadhanai Headworks.
According to PDMA, the water level at GS Wala on the Sutlej River is 269,501 cusecs, at Sulemanki Headworks 122,736 cusecs, at Islam Headworks 95,727 cusecs, and at Panjnad Headworks 182,107 cusecs.
