(Web Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced a tri-nation T20I series, which will be hosted by Pakistan for the first time.
According to details, the series will be played from November 17 to 29 in Rawalpindi and Lahore. The three participating teams will be Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.
The opening match of the series will take place on November 17 between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Rawalpindi. The second match, scheduled for November 19, will feature Sri Lanka vs. Afghanistan, also in Rawalpindi.
This will mark Afghanistan's first-ever T20 International match on Pakistani soil.
All remaining matches, including the final on November 29, will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer said the tri-nation series will serve as an excellent preparation opportunity ahead of the T20 World Cup.
