The demonstrators were calling for the lifting of a ban on the group ‘Palestine Action’

(Web Desk): British police have confirmed the arrest of 890 individuals during a pro-Palestine protest held in London yesterday.
The demonstrators were calling for the lifting of a ban on the group ‘Palestine Action’.
According to police, 857 of those arrested were taken into custody for supporting Palestine Action, while 33 others were detained for various offenses, including 17 arrested for assaulting police officers.
Authorities had warned in advance that anyone expressing support for the banned group would face arrest.
It is worth noting that Palestine Action was banned under the UK’s anti-terrorism laws in July, after some of its members broke into a Royal Air Force base and allegedly damaged military aircraft to protest the UK’s support for Israel.
