More than Rs5.7 million duty tax was due on mobile phones

Lahore: Customs officials seized smuggled mobile phones worth Rs12 million during an operation at Lahore Airport.
According to customs officials, the accused had arrived in Lahore from Dubai in Emirates Airlines flight EK622.
Upon suspicion, customs officials checked the passenger’s luggage and recovered a large number of mobile phones.
More than Rs5.7 million duty tax was due on the mobile phones. A case has been registered against the passenger Mahmood.
