On a monthly basis, remittances were down 2pc, compared to $3.2bn in July

Karachi: Pakistan received $3.1 billion worth of remittances in August 2025, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data showed on Friday.
Remittances increased by 7 per cent year-on-year (YoY), compared to $2.9 billion recorded in the same month last year.
On a monthly basis, remittances were down 2pc, compared to $3.2 billion in July.
