According to the challan, the girl's father, mother, sisters, brothers, first husband, father-in-law, and uncle have all been named as primary suspects

(Web Desk): In the honor killing case of 17-year-old Sidra Bibi in the Pirwadhai area, the investigation team has submitted the challan (charge sheet), which has now been transferred to the Model Court for trial.
According to the challan, the girl's father, mother, sisters, brothers, first husband, father-in-law, and uncle have all been named as primary suspects.
Additionally, a PML-N leader, Ismatullah Khan, who issued the fatwa (religious decree) for the killing, has also been declared a key accused in the case. The grave digger and the loader rickshaw driver who transported the body to the graveyard during heavy rain have also been listed as accused.
The challan states that 9 arrested suspects are currently in Adiala Jail, while 18 accused are absconding and have been declared proclaimed offenders.
The Model Court is expected to summon all the accused from jail next week, after which copies of the challan will be distributed.
According to the investigative report, the medical board and forensic report confirmed the cause of death as suffocation. The pillow used to strangle her and the rickshaw used to transport the body have been listed as case evidence.
The challan further states that all the accused jointly consulted, held meetings, and reached a unanimous decision in a jirga (tribal assembly) to commit the murder. It concludes by asserting that all accused are guilty of murder and should be sentenced to death.
