Light rain in Karachi early morning, heavy rain likely in various cities till Sept 19

Karachi: Light rain fell in different areas of Karachi in the early morning. After the rain in II Chandrigarh Road, Saddar, and Garden, the weather became pleasant.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted intermittent rain in the upper parts of the country from today to September 19.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely at a few places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and Punjab.

The weather is likely to remain dry in most parts of Sindh. However, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the coastal areas. The weather will also remain partly cloudy in most parts of Balochistan.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert on the possibility of glacial lakes erupting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
