Condemning Israeli attacks is not enough, course of action must be adopted: Ishaq Dar
He says that time has come to ensure an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that merely condemning the Israeli attacks is not enough; now we must adopt a clear course of action.
In an interview with Arab TV, he stated that Israel’s attack on Qatar after Lebanon and Syria was unacceptable and unexpected.
Ishaq Dar says that the time has come to ensure an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza. It is clear from Israeli provocations that it does not want peace at all.
The Foreign Minister says that the world must now stop Israel’s path. Reforms should be made in the Security Council, and as a nuclear power, Pakistan stands with the Muslim Ummah.
He added that after the Israeli attack on Qatar, we, along with Somalia, requested an emergency meeting of the Security Council. Pakistan has always supported the peaceful resolution of disputes through dialogue.
He says that the Security Council should fulfill its responsibility to resolve the Kashmir and Palestinian conflicts. The OIC forum strongly condemned the Israeli attack. The Arab-Islamic emergency meeting in Doha is of great importance.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the people of Gaza are facing extreme difficulties. The time has come to ensure an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza. It is clear from Israeli provocations that it does not want peace at all.
Pakistan has always been a proponent of unity among the Muslim Ummah. Negotiations are the best way to resolve problems; seriousness is necessary for the success of negotiations and discussions, says Ishaq Dar.
He further said: “Pakistan has strong forces and modern weapons. We will not allow anyone to violate our sovereignty and integrity. Future wars must be fought on water”.
The Federal Minister also stated that under the Indus Water Treaty, water was shared between Pakistan and India. India cannot unilaterally suspend or terminate the Indus Water Treaty. Pakistan has made it clear that the act of stopping water will be considered a declaration of war.
The Foreign Minister said that they are ready for talks with India on all issues, including Kashmir. Pakistan is a peace-loving country and wants to resolve issues through talks. Pakistan has made the most sacrifices against terrorism.
He also says that it is surprising that India is accusing the country that is the most victim of terrorism; they are determined to completely eradicate terrorism from the country, neighbors cannot be replaced, they want good relations with all neighbors, including India.
