Father rejects suicide claim after daughter dies at police officer’s residence

(Web Desk): A 15-year-old domestic worker allegedly died due to torture in the Kahna area of Lahore.
The girl’s father revealed that she was employed at the house of a police officer. He claimed that although her death is being portrayed as a suicide, she could not have taken her own life.
The incident occurred in the Kahna area of Lahore, where a domestic worker, reportedly working at a police officer’s residence, allegedly died due to torture.
In his statement, the girl’s father said that she worked at the police officer's house. He was informed the previous day that his daughter had hanged herself, but her head had injuries and there were signs of torture on her mouth and body.
The father alleged that the police officer did not even allow them to take a picture of the girl. He called the police himself and handed over the body to a doctor of his choosing. He further claimed that efforts are being made to portray the girl’s death as suicide, but she would never do such a thing.
