Rain at a few places in KP, Punjab, and Gilgit-Baltistan are also predicted today


Islamabad: Heavy and sometimes torrential rain was recorded in eight places, including Islamabad and Muzaffarabad, as well as the Neelum Valley and upper areas.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain at a few places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Gilgit-Baltistan today.
On the other hand, heavy rain and hail are likely at a few places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, Kashmir, and adjacent hilly areas.
11th spell of monsoon rains in Punjab
It is pertinent to note that during the 11th spell of monsoon rains in Punjab, heavy rains are predicted in most districts of Punjab from September 16 to 19.
A spokesperson for PDMA Punjab said that rains are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Lahore, Gujrat, and Sialkot under the monsoon spell.
