“There are credible evidences of Afghans, Indian military involvement in terrorism in Pakistan”

Rawalpindi: Director General (DG) Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) department of Pakistan Army Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that we have credible evidence that illegal Afghan residents and Indian Army officers are involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan.

In an interview with a German magazine, the DG ISPR stated that the main reasons for Afghan refugees to seek refuge were foreign intervention and civil war. Those reasons no longer exist. Pakistan hosted millions of Afghan refugees for 40 years. Now, systematic steps have been taken for their honorable return.

He added that Pakistan has extended the deadline for the evacuation of Afghan refugees on humanitarian grounds several times. We have credible evidence that illegal Afghan residents are involved in terrorism and serious crimes.

In response to a question, he said that the violent incidents in India are the result of the increasingly extremist policies of the Indian government. India presents its internal problems as external while external problems as internal problems.

The DG ISPR said that India is involved in terrorist acts in Pakistan under the auspices of the state. There is solid evidence of Indian military officers being involved in terrorist acts in Pakistan. Pakistan has also presented evidence of Indian terrorism to the world several times.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that Indian state institutions, including the army, are under the influence of extremist political ideologies, while the Pakistani state rejects all non-state elements without discrimination. There is no place for any army or armed groups in Pakistan. No group or person other than the state has the authority to declare jihad.

He added that Pakistan played the role of a frontline state in the war against terrorism and made immense sacrifices.

He said that after the American withdrawal, American weapons left in Afghanistan are being used in terrorism, and America has also expressed concern over the use of these weapons in terrorist acts.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that during the war of truth, the leadership role of US President Trump as a strategic leader emerged. The US declared the banned Majeed Brigade a global terrorist organization, and several dead terrorists of Fitna-ul-Hindustan in Balochistan were also included in the list of so-called missing persons.

Regarding relations with China, DG ISPR said that Pakistan also has constructive and strategic relations with its brotherly country, China.
