Washington: The US President has set the annual fee for the H-1B worker visa at $100,000 to limit immigration.
According to a foreign news agency, President Donald Trump has signed an order under which an annual fee of $100,000 has been set for the H-1B worker visa.
President Trump says that in some cases, companies will have to pay a large amount for the H-1B visa.
According to a report, this new measure will be a big blow to technology companies because they provide jobs to technology experts from India and China in the US.
It is pertinent to note that earlier, the visa filing fee could have gone from $215 to several thousand dollars in different cases, but now the decision to charge a fee of more than $100,000 will create a bad situation for companies and candidates.
