Already highly-priced gold becomes more expensive

Karachi: The price of gold has hiked further in the global and local markets on Saturday.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), the price of per tola gold has increased by Rs1,700 to reach Rs390,300 in the local markets today.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs1,458, setting at Rs334,619.

On the other hand, the price of gold per ounce in the global bullion market has become more expensive by $17 to$ 3,685.

It is pertinent to note that the price of gold had decreased by Rs1,100 yesterday, but jumped again today.
