Jewelers were on their way to deliver gold to buyers in Quetta


Qila Saifullah: Unidentified armed men riding in three vehicles near Muslim Bagh in Qila Saifullah district of Balochistan snatched 7kg of gold from two jewelers of Multan who were travelling in a bus and fled. A case has been registered in the incident.
According to the media reports, two goldsmiths from Punjab were carrying gold on a bus coming from Multan to Quetta. Armed suspects riding in three vehicles near Muslim Bagh stopped the bus, made the passengers get off along with their bags, snatched gold worth Rs250 million, and made all the passengers sit back in the bus and fled.
It is also reported that the jewelers who were the victims of the robbers told the authorities that they were on their way to deliver the gold to buyers in Quetta when the incident occurred.
The affected jewelers from Multan say that the value of the stolen gold is Rs248.1 million.
A case has been registered at the complaint of the victim jewelers, and action is being taken to search for the suspects, so that they can be apprehended before they reach a safe location.
