Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed their condolences


Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh has passed away.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Royal Court announced the death of Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh on Tuesday morning.
According to Saudi media, Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh's funeral prayer will be held after the afternoon prayer at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.
The statement issued regarding the death of the Mufti said, “With the death of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, the kingdom, and the Muslim world have lost a distinguished scholar. The Grand Mufti made outstanding contributions to science, Islam, and Muslims”.

Sheikh Abdulaziz was also the president of the Council of Senior Scholars and had also performed the duties of delivering the Hajj sermon.
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed their condolences on the death of the Grand Mufti.
Furthermore, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has ordered that the funeral prayer in absentia for Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh be held in all mosques across the country, including the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, after the afternoon prayer.
