Karachi: Polling has begun across Sindh, including Karachi, for the by-elections.
Polling for the by-elections will continue from 8:00am to 5:00pm without any break. By-elections are being held on five seats in three districts of Karachi, including West, East, and Keamari districts.
The spokesperson for the Election Commissioner Sindh said that the total number of registered voters is 243,187, including 133,038 male and 110,154 female voters. Strict security arrangements have been made in all districts.
According to Provincial Election Commissioner Sindh Ijaz Anwar Chohan, a control room has been set up to monitor the by-elections. The control room will remain active until the results are received.
