Famous Italian actress Claudia Cardinale has died in France at the age of 87.
According to foreign media, actress Cardinale's film career spanned six decades, during which she worked in many famous European and Hollywood films.
Claudia Cardinale was born in Tunisia in 1938. At the age of just 16, she won a local beauty contest, after which she got the opportunity to participate in the Venice Film Festival. From there, her film journey began, and she soon became one of Italy's leading actresses.
In 2002, she was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Berlin Film Festival, which was a global recognition of her artistic contributions.
According to reports, the actress was raped at a young age, which led to Claudia giving birth to a son in London, whom she kept secret and later continued to present as her brother for a long time, but after a short time, the truth came to light.
