NCCIA files case against YouTuber Rajab Butt in betting app crackdown
NCCIA stated that Rajab Butt advertised these betting apps on his social media platforms
(Web Desk): A new case has been registered against YouTuber Rajab Butt.
According to reports, Pakistani authorities have recently intensified actions against YouTubers and social media influencers over the promotion of betting apps.
As part of these actions, the National Crime Control and Investigation Authority (NCCIA) had earlier arrested well-known YouTuber Ducky Bhai, who remains in custody. He has been presented in court multiple times, and investigations against him are still ongoing.
Now, the NCCIA has also filed a case against Rajab Butt for promoting betting apps.
According to the report, the NCCIA stated that Rajab Butt advertised these betting apps on his social media platforms. He was summoned for an explanation, but after failing to appear, a case was registered against him.
