(Web Desk): Key national cricketer and former captain Babar Azam is set to make a comeback to the T20 team, according to sources.
Reportedly, there were plans a few days ago to send Babar Azam to the UAE for the Asia Cup, but tournament organizers made it clear to the board that no changes to the squad could be made unless a player was injured.
Sources indicate that Babar Azam is likely to return during the upcoming T20 series against South Africa.
It is worth mentioning that Babar last played a T20 International in December 2024 against South Africa.
