New YouTube feature allows users to remove annoying video pop-ups
Button will be located in top-right corner of screen, and by clicking it, you'll be able to watch video without any recommendations or links

(Web Desk): YouTube is finally providing control over a feature that users have long disliked.
In fact, users had been demanding the removal of this feature for quite some time.
When you watch videos on YouTube, recommendation pop-ups appear at the end, which makes it difficult to watch the final moments of the video properly.
But now, the company is offering a solution.
YouTube has announced the introduction of a new "Hide" button that will allow users to get rid of these pop-up recommendations.
This button will be located in the top-right corner of the screen, and by clicking it, you'll be able to watch the video without any recommendations or links.
Similarly, by clicking the "Show" button, you can bring back those recommendations or links.
While this change will eliminate a major annoyance for many users, there is still one limitation.
When you use the Hide button, it will only remove the pop-ups for the specific video you are watching.
That means you'll have to use the button for each video individually.
This feature has started rolling out globally and is already available to many users.
YouTube introduced this feature in response to user complaints about video recommendation pop-ups.
But why did it take so long? The answer is that YouTube was concerned this change might affect video performance metrics.
To address this, YouTube conducted a test and found that hiding the pop-ups does not impact user engagement.
