Gold rings and cash worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were recovered from the suspect’s possession

Lahore: Nawan Kot police have arrested a woman involved in stealing gold and cash from jewelry shops.
According to police, the suspect, Asiya, used to visit various jewelers' shops and, finding the right opportunity, would steal gold and cash. CCTV footage clearly shows the suspect stealing a ring from a jeweler's shop.
SP Dr. Muhammad Umar stated that the suspect already had a case registered against her for stealing a gold chain and ring. The police traced and arrested her using modern technology and surveillance cameras.
Gold rings and cash worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were recovered from the suspect’s possession. A case has been registered, and further investigation has been handed over to the Investigation Wing.
SP Dr. Muhammad Umar praised SHO Nawan Kot, Farooq Azam, and the police team for the successful operation. He stated that the police are always active in protecting the lives and property of the public.
