Etihad will now operate five weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Peshawar

(Web Desk): Etihad Airways has resumed operations at Bacha Khan International Airport (BKIAP), Peshawar, for the first time since 2014, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s aviation sector.
According to a spokesperson from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), flight EY-276 from Abu Dhabi landed in Peshawar and was welcomed with a traditional water salute. Etihad will now operate five weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Peshawar — on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday — with return flight EY-277 departing Peshawar at 8:00am. With this development, Etihad becomes the third international airline to launch operations at BKIAP in 2025, following Fly Dubai and Flyadeal.
The PAA stated that these new connections offer enhanced travel options and improved global connectivity, underscoring its commitment to safe, efficient, and world-class airport services.
