Islamabad: The foreign ministers of Pakistan, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt have strongly supported US President Donald Trump’s efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The joint statement issued by Muslim countries praised President Trump’s proposed plan, which includes the reconstruction of Gaza, the prevention of the forced displacement of the Palestinian people, a ceasefire, and the announcement of a comprehensive peace process.

According to the statement issued by the Muslim countries, the US President has also assured that the annexation of the West Bank will not be allowed.
The foreign ministers said that they are ready to engage with the US and other parties positively and constructively so that the agreement can be finalized and its implementation can be ensured, which will result in peace, security, and stability for the people of the region.
The statement issued by the Muslim countries reiterated their commitment to work with the United States on a comprehensive agreement to end the war in Gaza.
According to the joint statement, the comprehensive agreement includes the provision of full humanitarian aid to Gaza, stopping the displacement of the Palestinian people, the release of hostages, security guarantees for all parties, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces, the reconstruction of Gaza, and the full integration of Gaza and the West Bank into a single Palestinian state under a two-state solution.
It also stated that these measures are key to peace and security in the region in accordance with international law.
