‘Resignations were submitted voluntarily by the two ministers’

Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two provincial ministers from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Aqibullah and Faisal Tarakai, have resigned from their posts.
Faisal Tarakai shared a copy of his resignation on social media and confirmed that he has stepped down from the provincial cabinet.
Both ministers have submitted their resignations to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur.
Both ministers are from Swabi district. Aqibullah is the brother of former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, while Faisal Tarakai is the brother of National Assembly member Shahram Tarakai.
On the other hand, Chief Minister’s spokesperson Faraz Mughal stated that the resignations were submitted voluntarily by the two ministers and that the Chief Minister did not request their resignations.
