(Web Desk): With the change in weather, tomato prices have skyrocketed in Peshawar.
The price of tomatoes has reached Rs300 per kilogram, while the administration has failed miserably to control the rates according to official pricing.
The price hike is attributed to seasonal changes and the start of supply from Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the prices of other vegetables have started to decrease.
Due to the sharp increase in tomato prices, citizens have reduced their consumption of tomatoes.
