Petition filed by Justice Tariq states that petitioner was not made party in Sindh High Court

Islamabad: Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri has challenged the decision of the Sindh High Court (SHC) in the Supreme Court.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) judge Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri has challenged the decision of the SHC and requested the Supreme Court to declare the September 25 decision of the Sindh High Court null and void.
The petition has taken the position that the SHC dismissed the application to become a party in the case. The unilateral decision without hearing the affected party is against the law. The Sindh High Court also ignored the issue of the admissibility of the application.
Sindh Education Commission, Karachi University, PEMRA, and others have been made parties in the petition.
The petition filed by Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri states that the petitioner was not made a party in the Sindh High Court. The petitioner was not given time to become a party and hire a lawyer before the Sindh High Court made its decision. The matter of the petitioner’s degree could not have been decided in the constitutional bench.
The petition further states that the petitioner, besides being a current judge, has also held various bar positions. The cancellation of the petitioner's degree is based on malicious and illegal action.
