Police mobile was on a routine patrol when the sudden blast took place, injuring four police officers


Peshawar: An explosion occurred near a police mobile van in the jurisdiction of the Bhana Mari police station in Peshawar.
According to reports, the police vehicle was targeted with an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) near Qamar Din Chowk in the Bhana Mari area.
Peshawar CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed stated that the police mobile was on a routine patrol when the sudden blast took place, injuring four police officers.
The injured personnel were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police and security forces cordoned off the area and began collecting evidence from the scene, while panic and fear spread in the vicinity following the explosion.
Upon receiving the alert, a large contingent of police reached the site and secured the area. The injured officers were promptly moved to the hospital for emergency care.
