Islamabad: In response to the Islamabad police's assault on lawyers outside the Press Club, the District Bar Association has announced a strike.
The Islamabad District Bar Association declared a complete strike for tomorrow to protest the police's violence and arrests of lawyers demonstrating outside the Press Club.
The Bar Association stated that peaceful protest is a fundamental and legal right of every citizen.
Additionally, the Islamabad Bar Association has also convened a General Body meeting for tomorrow, during which the next course of action will be decided.
