(Web Desk): Tremors from an earthquake were felt in the city of Istanbul.
According to the Turkish Disaster Agency, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake was recorded on Thursday, with its epicenter located in the Sea of Marmara, southwest of Istanbul.
The quake caused several buildings in the city to shake, prompting residents to rush out onto the streets in panic.
As per initial reports, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far.
