Light drizzle likely in Karachi

(Web Desk): The cyclone in the Arabian Sea has intensified, raising the likelihood of rain in Karachi.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Cyclone Shakti is currently located in the northwestern part of the Arabian Sea, approximately 700 kilometers southwest of Karachi.
The Met Office stated that Cyclone Shakti has now intensified, but there is no threat to Pakistan’s coastal areas. The intensity of the cyclone is expected to begin decreasing from tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the PMD has predicted that Karachi will experience hot and partly cloudy weather today, with a chance of light drizzle in some areas.
The maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to reach 34°C today.
