Indian team was all out against Pakistan Women for first time in one-day cricket


Colombo: India defeated Pakistan by 88 runs in the group match of the ICC Women's World Cup.
In the match played in Colombo, Pakistan Women's team captain Fatima Sana won the toss and invited India to bat.
Batting first, India scored 247 runs for the loss of 10 wickets. In reply, the Pakistani team was bowled out for 159 runs.
Earlier, the Indian women's cricket team was bowled out for 247 runs on the last ball of the 50th over.
The Indian team was all out against Pakistan Women for the first time in one-day cricket.
Harleen Deol stood out in the Indian innings with 46 runs, Richa Ghosh scored 35, Jemimah Rodrigues scored 32 runs, and Pratika Rawal played an innings of 31 runs.
Diana Baig took 4 wickets for Pakistan. Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana took 2 wickets each.
Chasing a target of 248 runs, the entire Pakistan team was bowled out for 159 runs in the 43rd over.
Sidra Amin stood out for Pakistan by scoring 81 runs. Natalia Parvez scored 33, and Sidra Nawaz scored 14 runs, while no other batter could enter double figures.
Kranti God and Deepti Sharma took 3 wickets each for India, and Sinha Rana dismissed 2 players.
The Indian women's team also followed in the footsteps of the men's team by not shaking hands with the Pakistani players. After the toss, the captains of both teams spoke to the presenter but did not shake hands.
