New Delhi: India's famous Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda passed away during treatment after being injured in a traffic accident.
According to Indian media, famous Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda was injured in a road accident near Shimla. 35-year-old Rajveer suffered serious head and spinal injuries. He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mohali.
Indian Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains expressed grief over the singer's death, saying that Rajveer was a talented artist who gave a new identity to Punjabi music.
Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja said that we all prayed for his recovery. But God had other plans. My prayers are with his family and fans.
Rajveer was not only a successful singer but also showed his talent in acting. He appeared in Gippy Grewal's film "Subedar Joginder Singh," released in 2018. After that, he also worked in films like "Jind Jaan" and "Mandu Tehsildarni" in 2019.
