Amir Balaj murder case: Police bring back main accused Teefi Butt from Dubai

Lahore: Police brought the main accused in the Amir Balaj Tipu murder case, Tefi Butt, from Dubai to Pakistan.

According to media reports, the accused Khawaja Tareef Gulshan alias Tefi Butt was presented in the Dubai court where the court questioned him about going to Pakistan, to which the accused agreed to go to Pakistan and face the cases.

It is also reported that the Dubai court handed over Tefi Butt to the Punjab Police with the consent of the accused.

Police say that Tefi Butt is the main accused in the murder of Amir Balaj Tipu, who has been transferred to Lahore.

It is pertinent to note that in February 2024, Tipu Truckanwala's son Amir Balaj was shot dead at a wedding ceremony.

The Chohang police station had registered a case of Amir Balaj's murder in which Khawaja Tareef Gulshan alias Tefi Butt and Aqeel alias Gogi Butt were named. The main accused in the case, Ahsan Shah, was killed in a police encounter, but Tefi Butt fled the country.
