Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to Maria Corina Machado


Oslo: The Nobel Peace Prize 2025 has been awarded to Maria Corina Machado.
The head of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Jörgen Wattenfors, while announcing the Nobel Peace Prize 2025, said that the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to the pro-democracy leader of Venezuela, Maria Corina Machado.
It is pertinent to note that the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to the person who has done the most or the best work to increase friendship between countries, to abolish or reduce standing armies, and to establish and promote peace.

The Nobel Prize is awarded in memory of Swedish businessman Alfred Nobel, who invented dynamite. He deposited almost all of his assets in a fund to award these prizes, and the Nobel Prizes were distributed for the first time in 1901.
