Gaza ceasefire: Palestinians pick up leftover belongings, head to destroyed homes
Israeli army has started taking positions on the new borders under the agreement

Gaza: After the Gaza ceasefire agreement came into effect, Palestinians picked up their remaining belongings and headed to their destroyed homes.
According to a foreign news agency, thousands of Palestinian citizens have started returning to their destroyed homes after the Gaza ceasefire agreement came into effect.
On the other hand, the Israeli army has started taking positions on the new borders under the agreement.
US Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff has said that the Israeli army has completed the first phase of the withdrawal, and a 72-hour period has begun for the release of the hostages.
In this regard, a joint statement issued by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front said that the governance of Gaza is a purely internal Palestinian matter, no foreign patronage will be accepted. However, cooperation from Arab and international countries in the reconstruction of Gaza has been welcomed.
The Israeli army announced the Gaza ceasefire agreement coming into effect yesterday and said that 11 Hamas prisoners will be released.
