Implemented school timings will remain in effect until March 31, 2026


Lahore: New winter school timings have been announced for all government and private schools across Punjab.
According to the Education Department, the implemented school timings will remain in effect until March 31, 2026. This decision has been taken to protect students from the severity of cold weather and continue the teaching process effectively.
Under the new schedule, single shift schools for boys will remain open from 8:45am to 2:45 pm from Monday to Thursday, and schools will close at 12:30pm on Friday.
Single shift schools for girls will remain open from 8:30am to 2:30pm from Monday to Thursday, and will close at 12:15pm on Friday.
In schools with double shift system, the first shift for boys will start at 8:45am and end at 12:45pm, on Friday the shift will end at 12:30pm.
In double shift schools for girls, the morning shift will start at 8:30am from Monday to Thursday and end at 12:30pm, on Friday the shift will be till 12:15pm.
The second shift for girls will start at 12:45pm from Monday to Thursday and end at 4:45pm, on Friday the classes will start at 1:45pm and continue till 4:45pm.
