India’s debt is $3 trillion, and each of its citizens owes $504


Washington: According to the latest report by the American research institute World Population Review, the United States is the top debtor country, with a national debt of $32.9 trillion, and each American owes about $76,000. China owes $15 trillion, Japan owes $10.9 trillion, the United Kingdom owes $3.4 trillion, France owes $3.4 trillion, Italy owes $3.1 trillion, India owes $3 trillion, Germany owes $2.8 trillion, Canada owes $2.3 trillion, and Brazil owes $1.8 trillion.
India has become the seventh-largest debtor country in the world with a national debt of $3 trillion, and each of its citizens owes $504.
The Indian government has started paying billions of dollars in interest every year, and millions of citizens are deprived of even the basic necessities of life. Pakistan is ranked 33rd with a national debt of $260.8 billion, and each Pakistani owes $543.
Bangladesh's national debt is $177.6 billion, and each Bangladeshi owes $611.
Afghanistan has the lowest national debt among major countries, with $1.6 billion, and every Afghan owes $30. Ireland is the top debtor country among major countries, with every citizen owing $614,000.
The most indebted country in the Islamic world is Indonesia, with $543 billion in debt; Egypt owes $377 billion, Turkey owes $330 billion, Saudi Arabia owes $280 billion, and Malaysia owes $278 billion.
