Nawabshah: A sharp increase in HIV infection among children has been revealed in Nawabshah.
According to the provincial health department, more than 100 cases have been reported since July.
In this regard, Dr Ezra Pechuho was told in a special meeting that the main reason for the increase in HIV is illegal blood banks and unlicensed doctors, where blood donations are administered to patients without screening.
Taking note of the situation, Provincial Health Minister Dr Ezra issued orders to arrest the unlicensed doctors and register cases, as well as seal the illegal blood banks.
