Islamabad: The 18th Chief of the Naval Staff Amateur Golf Cup 2025 has kicked off at the Margalla Greens Golf Club (MGGC) in Islamabad.
The tournament, which will run from October 22 to 26, features competitions in Amateurs, Seniors, Ladies, and Juniors categories, as well as an invitational match for guests and sponsors.
The Media Brief and Opening Ceremony was held on Wednesday, with Rear Admiral Saqib Ilyas, Patron of Pakistan Navy Golf (North), highlighting the salient features of the championship. He outlined the format and participation details, emphasizing Pakistan Navy's commitment to promoting sportsmanship and healthy recreational activities.
The Chief of the Naval Staff Amateur Golf Cup has become a prominent fixture on Pakistan's golfing circuit since its inception in 2007. The event aims to foster competitive excellence, project a positive image of the country, and encourage golf as a recreational activity.
The opening ceremony was attended by sponsors, golf players, and media representatives, marking the beginning of a prestigious event on the national golf calendar.
