Per tola price reaches Rs453,562 after a gain of Rs2,700

Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan soared on Wednesday in line with their gain in the international market, while silver rose to hit an unprecedented high.
In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs453,562 after a gain of Rs2,700 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs388,856 after it increased by Rs2,315, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the local market on Tuesday, gold price per tola reached Rs450,862 after a decline of Rs4,000 during the day.
The international rate of gold was up by $27 to reach $4,312 per ounce (with a premium of $20). Meanwhile, the price of silver surged by Rs290 to reach Rs6,822 per tola, a new all-time high.
