Rawalpindi: Security forces carried out two separate operations in Balochistan and killed 15 terrorists belonging to the India-backed groups Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
According to the Pakistan Army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), one intelligence-based operation was conducted in Harnai district after receiving information about the presence of terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij.
The spokesperson said that during the operation, security forces effectively targeted the hideout of the militants, and after an intense exchange of fire, 12 India-backed Khawarij were killed.
According to the ISPR spokesperson, another intelligence-based operation was conducted in Basima district. During this operation, security forces traced the presence of terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and effectively targeted them using various types of weapons. As a result, three India-backed terrorists were killed.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials were also recovered from the killed terrorists. These elements had been involved in multiple terrorist activities.
ISPR further stated that search and clearance operations are ongoing in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorists operating under Indian patronage.
The spokesperson added that under the Vision Azm-e-Istehkam, launched with the approval of the Federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, Pakistan’s security forces and law-enforcement agencies will continue their counter-terrorism campaign with full momentum to completely eradicate the menace of externally sponsored terrorism from the country.
