Veteran actress Durdana Butt passes away at 83
Karachi: The acclaimed Pakistani star has been passed away after being on ventilator following cancer. She was 83.
Reportedly, the much-admired actress was not in good health for the last few months and had been battling cancer for some time now.
Taking to Instagram, actor Khalid Malik shared the news of the actress' passing in a post captioned, "Durdana (dodi) apa has transitioned from this realm back to her Creator."

"The wise. The humorous. The insightful Durdana Butt is a special soul now back in His embrace," Malik added.
The funeral prayers and burial for the departed soul will be announced later.
The heartbreaking news of the veteran actor’s death left the internet and celebrities praying for the departed soul.
The 83-year-old actress par excellence is best known for her roles in the dramas Fifty Fifty, Aangan Terha, Ruswai, Intezaar and Tanhaiyaan.
