Veteran actress Durdana Butt passes away at 83

Reportedly, the much-admired actress was not in good health for the last few months and had been battling cancer for some time now.

Taking to Instagram, actor Khalid Malik shared the news of the actress' passing in a post captioned, "Durdana (dodi) apa has transitioned from this realm back to her Creator."

The funeral prayers and burial for the departed soul will be announced later.

The 83-year-old actress par excellence is best known for her roles in the dramas Fifty Fifty, Aangan Terha, Ruswai, Intezaar and Tanhaiyaan.
