Second Mpox case reported in Karachi

Karachi: A second case of Mpox has been reported in Karachi.

According to the Medical Superintendent of Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital, mpox has been confirmed in a 22-year-old man at the facility.

The MS stated that the patient, a resident of Buffer Zone, has been moved into isolation after testing positive. No travel history has been identified.

It is worth noting that the first case of Mpox in Karachi this year was reported in March.
