Rawalpindi: In South Waziristan, seven civilians have been injured in a failed suicide attack by Khawarij on Pak Army post in Azam Warsak area.
Khawarij came to attack the army post in an explosive-laden vehicle. However, due to timely action by the Pakistan Army's high alert unit, the vehicle was destroyed before it could reach the target.
This timely action of targeting the suicide bomber at a distance from the post not only prevented major casualties, but also killed the attacker Khawarij.
The injured civilians of the attack have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Wana.
