Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Operating Officer (COO) Barrister Salman Naseer Monday tested positive for novel coronavirus and urged people for prayers on social media.


On his official twitter handle, Salman Naseer wrote, “It got us too, Have tested Covid Positive”.
While urging people for prayers PCB COO revealed that three of his family members have been suffering from coronavirus.
“Please remember my family in your prayers. 3 family members down with the virus”.
“Those who haven't already, please get vaccinated ASAP!” he added.

Barrister Salman had been handling the additional charge of Acting Chief Operating Officer since 22 November 2019 after the resignation of Subhan Ahmed.
Naseer joined the PCB in September 2011 and during his time, Salman has been involved in preparation and drafting of rules, codes, policies and bylaws pertaining to regulation of cricket, conduct of cricketers, employees, coaches and support personnel.
