Kabul: At least five people have been killed at Kabul airport as panic and chaos erupts in the city.

According to Al-Jazeera quoting witnesses, dozens of people tried forcibly to enter planes in order to leave Afghan capital after the Taliban re-took power in Afghanistan.
One witness said that he has seen the bodies of five people being taken to a vehicle; however, it was unclear whether the victims have been killed by gunshots or in a stampede.
A US official earlier said that his country’s troops, who are in charge of the airport, earlier fired in the air to scatter the crowd.
Moreover, commercial flights from Kabul are cancelled after chaotic scenes at the airport with thousands looking for a way out.
“There will be no commercial flights from Hamid Karzai Airport to prevent looting and plundering. Please do not rush to the airport,” the Kabul airport authority says in a message sent to reporters.
Scenes of extreme chaos and panic were witnessed at Kabul Airport as thousands of Afghans and foreign nationals gathered at the airport seeking a place on a flight out of the country.
Several countries including United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), Germany, Canada are seeking to evacuate their nationals from the country.
Videos from the airport showed people rushing to the terminal building and planes along with children in order to be evacuated.
