Security forces killed 11 indian backed militants during IBO in North Waziristan

Rawalpindi: Security forces carried out a successful operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 11 Indian-backed militants.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched an effective operation against militants in the region.

The military spokesperson said that during the last 48 hours, multiple militant hideouts were targeted. In an intense exchange of fire, 11 terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored group “Fitna al-Khawarij” were eliminated.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed militants, who were involved in several terrorist activities in the area.

The ISPR further stated that a sanitization operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining militants hiding in the region. Under the National Action Plan and the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” approved by the Apex Committee, Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their relentless campaign against terrorism with full force.

The military spokesperson added that efforts will continue until the complete eradication of foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
