Makkah: Annual Hajj rituals have begun in Makkah with the arrival of pilgrims in Mina. About 1.8 million Muslims from across the globe have arrived in Makkah to perform Hajj.

Radio Pakistan’s Correspondent Asad Ullah Khan reports from Makkah that the intending pilgrims started arriving in Mina last night.

The pilgrims will remain in Mina until Fajr of the next morning, the 9th Zil-Hajj.

Subsequently, the Hujjaj will proceed to the valley of Arafat and offer Zuhr and Asr prayers together.

The Hajj sermon will be delivered at Masjid-e-Nimrah in Arafat.

On the same day, pilgrims will leave for Muzdalifah after sunset without offering Maghrib prayer, which will be combined with Isha in Muzdalifah.
