Islamabad: Robbers take away cash, valuables from senior bureaucrat's house
Islamabad: Robbers looted cash, jewellery and other valuables from the house of a serving bureucrat in the federal capital on Thursday, police said.
Five gun-totting people entered the house of Abdul Khaliq, who is federal secretray finance, in Golra Sharif, held family members hostage at gunpoint, plundered cash, foreign currency and 25 tolas of gold ornaments.
They took away footages of CCTV camera installed at the residence. Police lodged an FIR with no breakthrough in the case.
