President says EVM increase voters' confidence, reduce election petitions
Dr Arif has once again supported the use of EVM in the elections.
Islamabad: President Dr Arif Alvi Monday said that the use of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) increase confidence of voters and reduce election petitions.
Dr Arif has once again supported the use of EVM in the elections.
On his official twitter handle, the President shared data of Philippine EVM elections saying, “ Very imp. data on history of EVM elections in Philippine. Increasing voter confidence, phenomenal reductions in election petitions, murders & violence”.
“Would love to see such a change in Pakistan,” he added.
The President said our electronic voting system is stronger as the paper ballot will support the electronic count.
